Lantana is watered abundantly in summer, and in moderation in winter. After the appearance of the buds, they begin to feed the plant with liquid fertilizer 2 to 3 times a month. Earlier fertilizer application is undesirable, it will lead to increased shoot growth, but lanthanum bloom will be weak. Lantana is transplanted annually in early spring. A mixture of turf, leaf, humus soil and sand is prepared for transplantation in a ratio of 2: 1: 1: 0.5. Adult specimens can be transplanted less often - once every 2 to 3 years. Forming pruning of the crown is carried out in spring.
Lantana is well propagated by seeds that are sown in the spring. Propagation by stem cuttings is possible.
Of the pests, lanthanum is affected by a spider mite and whitefly, in order to get rid of them, you need to sprinkle the plant with actellik, fufanon or karbofos. Spots of bacterial origin may appear on the leaves. Sick leaves must be removed.
