But sometimes climbing plants, which are used to decorate the facade, do not lead to the desired results.

Excessive growth, creating too dense cover, damage to materials or blocking access to light - whatever the reasons that your ivy, girl's grapes or other creepers need to be removed from the facade, this will not be so easy: vertical landscaping creates a dense cover , the removal of which will require considerable physical effort.

In order to free the wall, fence or facade of the house from any climbing plants, you will have to stock up on time and patience. And at the same time, there is no hurry: in this process it is better to wait, but spend less effort, than to try to catch it all at once.

The process of cleaning the facade from landscapers is divided into 3 stages:

Stage 1. Removing vines

The first stage of cleaning the facade from landscapers is the removal of large shoots. You will have to work hard and cut off, cut off literally all the branches of your creeper from the walls. It’s better to move from top to bottom, starting from the most inaccessible places. At the same time, you need to work carefully so as not to harm not only the decoration materials of the house itself, but also adhere to all necessary safety rules.

Before you start the process of cleaning the facade from vines, be sure to protect your hands with gloves and long sleeves of dense clothing and do not forget to wear safety glasses.

Stage 2. Waiting and drying

Having removed all the shoots from the facade, take a break for a few weeks. Leave it as it is. The remaining parts of the plant should not be rushed to remove this very minute in order to achieve perfect aesthetics and forget about the green coverlet. The green screen was created in more than one month, and it will not work in one day. If you allow several weeks to dry, dry residues, including leaves, will be very easy to remove with special tools, clean with minimal effort.

Stage 3. Final cleaning of "trifles"

In the third step, clean all dry plant residues of the green coating. To do this, you can use a simple dry brush with steel bristles or purchase a special nozzle for a perforator. At this stage, you need to remove all remaining plant debris, systematically, centimeter by centimeter, tidying the facade surface. If possible, wash surfaces (if materials permit wet cleaning). Particular attention should be paid to windows, balconies, gutters, decorative elements, and other structures that have been damaged by landscaping and require additional measures.

But only by removing the process of getting rid of landscapers does not end:

as soon as you remove all remaining traces of plants from the wall, carefully inspect the coating and note which restoration work will need to be undertaken;
complete the facade cleaning by reconstructing the damaged plaster, repairing irregularities, priming, treating stains that have come through;
Update the decorative characteristics of the facade covering - painting, treatment with impregnation, etc.
