How to protect seedlings from diseases?
Seeds are a source of infection of plants with pathogens (phytopathogens). Plant pathogens cause plant diseases such as peronosporosis, scab, phomosis, bacteriosis, various types of rot, anthracnose, black leg, powdery mildew, late blight, and many others.

Sick seeds cannot be distinguished from healthy seeds; therefore, only seed disinfection can suppress the development of phytopathogens in the early stages of plant development.
An effective drug for seed disinfection is Sporobacterin biofungicide, the active substance of which are microorganisms: the Trichoderma viride fungus (Trichoderma) and the bacterium Bacillus subtilis (hay bacillus).
Trichoderma, invading the roots of phytopathogenic fungi, actively grows in cells, which leads to their death. In addition, trichoderma inhibits the growth and development of pathogens due to the release of a large number of antibiotics. Hay bacillus also inhibits the development of phytopathogens, producing more than 70 types of antibiotics. The impact of hay bacillus on phytopathogens consists in creating unfavorable living conditions for them (acidification of the soil), as well as creating nutritional deficiencies, since hay bacillus develops faster than pathogens and populates the maximum surface.
Antibiotics secreted by trichoderma and hay bacillus inhibit the growth and development of pathogens and are effective stimulants of plant growth and immunity.
Spilling the soil before sowing the seeds with a solution of the drug Sporobacterin helps saturate the seedlings with microorganisms - antagonists. Trichoderma and hay bacillus develop faster than pathogens, concentrate in the root zone of seedlings and actively inhibit the growth and development of bacterial and fungal pathogens of plant diseases, create a protective space around young plants.

The use of the drug Sporobacterin guarantees a healthy and strong seedlings that are resistant to diseases and various stresses.
When planting seedlings in open ground, preventive watering of the soil and spraying of plants with Sporobacterin is recommended throughout the summer.
We also prepared a video for you in which we will talk about why and how to soak the seeds before planting.
