If there are children in the family, then the question periodically arises - what would you create with your own hands? A great option is to make bouquets. There is so much room for creativity! Someone goes for a walk and picks wildflowers. Someone composes compositions from what has blossomed in the garden. Someone is interested in experimenting with fruits. But you can try something completely extraordinary - to collect a sweet composition from marshmallows and marshmallows! Sounds intriguing?! And if you knew how interesting it is to work with such unusual material! Hold soft pillows in your hands, arrange them by color ... Pleasure - the sea! But, it’s not easy to give such beauty then - you want to eat it yourself!

What do we need for work?

We made our bouquets from what turned out to be at home. We have two girls in my family for three boys (me and my daughter). Somehow after March 8, in the kitchen, as usual, a lot of sweets accumulated: a box of marshmallows, several packets of chewing marmalade, a couple of packets of marshmallows. We gathered all this together and decided to try to make an original bouquet.

In addition to sweets, we also needed:

wooden sticks for barbecue;
wide adhesive tape (although anyone will do);
scissors;
wrapping;
twine.

This is so-called “minimum package”. You can make a completely different selection for your bouquet, and today the choice allows you to find options for every taste. You can take multi-colored marshmallows, watered with chocolate, decorated with bright stripes, glued in two ...

The same huge selection among marshmallows. On sale you can find large pillows, medium and very tiny (but tiny, as it turned out, are not very convenient to use). White, pink, yellow, greenish ... In the form of original spirals or funny animal faces, with a colored center ...

You can not take marmalade for a bouquet - you get a gentle pastel gamma. Or you can take it, or replace it with pastille or Turkish delight. They have a variety of bright colors and can become a catchy accent. In a word, everything that fits on a wooden stick will do.

Many people confuse marshmallows with marshmallows, believing that they are one and the same. Some people look at marshmallow with disbelief, thinking it is something chemical. In fact, marshmallows are made from sugar, mashed potatoes, pectin and egg yolks. And it is considered not harmful sweetness. Marshmallow - made from corn syrup, sugar, gelatin and glucose, whipped to a state resembling a sponge.

Making the basis of the bouquet

Each child can wear a glove on his left hand (for greater importance). On the head - bonnets or tie scarves. Imagine that you are a culinary specialist. In this case, less candy gets into the mouth, and the children will be more focused on work.

The first to stick on sticks are the largest elements of the composition. In our case - marshmallows. If it has the usual shape with a nose at the end, then the skewers must be inserted from the bottom. In this case, one stick will not be enough - marshmallows are quite heavy and soft. In this version, he is likely to either be pierced through and start to crawl, exposing the tip of the skewer, or he will twist to one side and fall off.

For this reason, we insert at least two, and preferably three, sticks into the treat, and so that their lower ends intersect at one point. That is, at an angle, not at a right angle.

If the marshmallows are flat, you can do differently. Stick the sticks in a barrel (in the rib). In this case, not poppies will look out of the bouquet, but cute round circles and the composition will seem easier.

Now insert the skewers into the largest marshmallow. How many things to take - you will not tell at once. It all depends on what size bouquet you want to receive. But we can assume that no matter how much you take, it will not be superfluous!

When the largest elements are ready, we begin to collect the bouquet. First we try on where the marshmallows will be located, and where the marshmallows. The easiest option is marshmallows in the middle, pads around. But if the children are already old enough, they can experiment and do something different - as they see it.

After the base is assembled in the hand, turn the bouquet with the chopsticks up, and align the location of the sweets on the table surface, so that all the sweets are on the same level.

After that, we take tape and wrap the resulting leg, fixing the first stage of the structure.

Add small details.

Now that the base of the bouquet is ready, we can either proceed to the finer details, or add another circle of large elements. To do this, we again align the level of arrangement of sweets on the surface of the table and once again fix everything with tape.

If it is decided that it is time to decorate the bouquet, we stick various little things on skewers. Chewing marmalades, small colored marshmallow pads or Turkish delight. Their task is to become a bright accent on the pastel palette of our composition.

All these little things can again be arranged in different ways. You can insert into the already obtained composition between large elements. At the same time, without dropping into the bouquet itself, so that they rise above the basic elements. It can be arranged in a circle around an already formed base. You can arrange the islands and attach on the sides. Here, each child sees in his own way, it is important not to disturb him!

We pack a bouquet of marshmallows and marshmallows

When everything is ready - once again we fix the structure with tape. And here the main rule is not to overdo it, not to tighten the tape so that the “cap” of the bouquet is compressed. Just wrap the sticks and trust that they stick to its sticky surface.

The next stage is important only if the bouquet needs to be saved (either for a while, or in order to present it to someone as a gift). Marshmallows and marshmallows in the air quickly weather and dry, and a dried bouquet (as in the case of flowers) is not beautiful to give. Therefore, it should be wrapped with a wide cling film.

It’s enough to cover only sweets, capturing only part of the legs for better fixation of the film. To do this, the roll must be unwound on the surface of the table. Flatten the film. Put the bouquet down with your head and wrap it gently. The ends of the film will hide under the wrapping paper during the final packaging.

Now it remains only to bring the final beauty - to close the legs. In that case, if the bouquet is eaten right away, you can go the simple way - wrap it in paper previously folded into an envelope for seeds. And fix the wrapper with a string, tying the ends in a bow.

And you can, before making the main wrapper, wrap the paper in the leg of the bouquet. This solution is more suitable for gift options - it will allow you to carefully hide the ends of the skewers.

To do this, cut a rectangle from the wrapping paper. For greater density, fold it in half and cover the ends of the sticks with it from the end. Secure with tape. If there is double-sided tape, then double-sided - it will grab the final layer of brown paper in one. If not, then simple.

Further, as is already clear, we place the bouquet in an envelope and for decoration we fix it with a twine.

P.S. I don’t know how it will be with you, but our bouquets did not stand even a day. Slowly, the sweets, marshmallows, and pastilles pads disappeared from them and only delight remained in the memories. And also - the desire to repeat everything again!
